around we are giving away a brand new Telrad reflex sight
that was graciously donated by Oceanside
Photo and Telescope. This accessory is a hot item. On
a recent trip to the Mt. Wilson observatory outside of Pasadena
California we found out that both the 100" and 60"
telescopes have Telrads, so if its good enough for those monsters
it will work for your backyard scope :o). All you have to
do is answer correctly as many questions as possible and you're
entered into the contest to WIN!

#1: Phobos and Deimos - Mars has two moons discovered
in 1877 by American astronomer Asaph Hall named Phobos (on the
left) and Deimos. They are widely believed to be asteroids gravitationally

#2: 110 - There
are 110 entries in what is known as the Messier catalog. This
observing catalog was compiled by Charles Messier and is popular
because all of the objects listed are easily seen with a small
telescope. More on the

#3: New General Catalog - The NGC catalog was compiled
by John Louis Emile Dreyer around 1887. It contains a variety
of objects with a detailed legend for descriptions of each of
